Airport safety is everyone’s responsibility
Airport Safety Week is an annual event held by the Australian Airports Association during October. Airport staff across Australia take part in activities during the campaign dedicated to improving safety for airport employees and contractors. Developed by and for the airport sector, the campaign engages with individuals to consider their own safety at work and their obligations to provide a safe airport environment for all airport users.
As an industry, Airport Safety Week provides a platform to discuss the safety challenges and share best practice experiences that have delivered results at participating airports.
Airport Safety Week @ Hobart Airport
At Hobart Airport we believe, ‘ Safety first, so you last’. There is no higher priority than keeping everyone safe at the airport.
Each year we take part in Airport Safety Week activities to raise awareness and share knowledge with our industry partners and our local Tasmanian community to continue to drive the message of safety for everyone.
