Senior Operations Officer
This is a rare opportunity to join our Operations team.
The Opportunity
Your will be responsible for the oversite of aerodrome safety including undertaking serviceability inspections of the aerodrome and surrounds, hazard management and proactively engaging with key stakeholders.
This permanent, full-time role works on a rotational shift which includes night work and weekends. To enjoy this work, you will need to be comfortable working on your own at times and spending considerable time driving airside.
What we need from you (the essentials)
- A personable approach
- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated high level of self direction, initiative and decision making.
- Ability to comprehend and apply relatively complex regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Sound knowledge of general aerodrome operations is desirable but not essential.

Customer Support Officer
Fixed term role – 8 months, full time
If you are a super organised administrative professional who loves providing exceptional customer service this position is for you!
The Opportunity
Due to an internal transfer, an opportunity has arisen to join our team for an 8 month period. This role plays a key part in the smooth running of our front of house activities. You will often be the first point of contact with Hobart Airport for many of our customers, contractors and stakeholders both in person and on the phone. Your primary objective is to give exceptional service.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes and experience:
- Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft suite)
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- A great attitude
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative.

The Role:
As our full-time Assets and GIS Coordinator, your responsibilities include managing and maintaining data related to assets, infrastructure, and maintenance activities. You will coordinate data between the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the Geographic Information System (GIS), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of asset records, and contributing to the development of asset management plans and budgets.

- Proficiency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
